Poking around on foreign classifieds is dangerous when interesting cars start to become attainable.
First up, this R31 Skyline GTS Twincam 24V Turbo. Look at all that 80's awesomeness.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
Up next, a responsible adult 4 door sedan/hatch, the Citroën CX GTi Turbo:
Dat booty tho... mmmmmm

I should have both of these. Between them and the TA I’d have quite the garage.

“Affordable”
It’s £109,900 ($135,122)

Needs love, but getting some new front end parts from Amazon Japan would be pretty easy, and it seems like it’s just... dirty. Really dirty.

WAY overpriced for a CX...
Cross the channel and bring one back from France man...

This one is roughly 3 times cheaper and in similar condition (also LHD)...

It’s all relative. Technically.

Nothing a hose and a little love couldn’t fix.

$7K, with inspection, if I read it correctly. Given that bumpers and hoods for average like $60 each, that horrendous body kit and hood could easily be dealt with.

That one is actually in Belgium, and I like the silver color way more. I know nothing about the CX market.

Skylines/GT-Rs do nothing for me.

Well, repaint it and it’s still half the price :)
But yeah 13/14000€ is insane for a CX GTI, no matter how great the pictures to sell it are...

Yeah, the white on white Type R is a looker, and $7k doesn’t seem bad at all.

RB20DET, 180 horse version.

I really like R/DR30s and R31s but not the later cars as much. Everyone’s favorite, the R34, does the least for me styling wise.

I have this problem, too. I start to look at 90's TVRs on the other side of the pond that will hit the magical 25 year mark and realize that I could probably swing the purchase of one in an attack of insanity.

It’s not until the Tuscan Speed Six becomes legal that that’ll be an issue for me.

That R31 looks nice. I have a R32 GTS-T which is very similar and it’s very fun to drive. Definitely worth going after.
